Artistic quotes build teams at Smarter Communities
Creating a lasting memory of an event is a challenging task. Personalising a takeaway gift can build strong connections to memories and nostalgia. When that object is an artwork, it becomes something to cherish.
To summarise their ‘Growth Bootcamp’, the CEO, Sunitha Alexander, took notes on some of the more inspiring quotes from the event. Sunitha originally gave this job to other designers, who took almost three months and created lacklustre designs on random backgrounds.
Wanting a high-quality product that was clever, beautifully designed and delivered quickly; Sunitha turned to Studio Riz. Once on board, we changed the original 2:1 to a 16:9 format to give us a bit more space to work with.
We liaised with the printer to adjust the sizing on this ‘desk tent’ without increasing the printing cost. Once the size and dimensions were worked out, we turned around an initial draft in 1-2 days.
Our vision was to create a visual story to strengthen the memories. We found creative images to match the quote, sometimes using ironic or thought-provoking imagery; then styled the typography to allow the key messages to shine.
