Imagining the future of Inception Place
We helped the team to rebrand and sell the potential future use of this office building, approved for refurbishment, residential conversion and/or food and beverage applications.
Built in 1927 this older building was originally used as a cosmetic and pharmaceutical space. Owned at the time by the University of Sydney, they received approval for a conversion of the existing structure for new purposes. They were seeking to sell to another party who would carry out these upgrades.
Studio Riz created branding and name that sought to not steer the potential buyer in any singular direction, instead revealing all the opportunities for the site. The name ‘Inception Place’ takes this property back to its inception, when it was originally earmarked to be a residential property, now again it could be anything it wanted to be.
We convinced the client to create 3D video and photo renders of what the building could look like in the future which really helped to sell this dream.
