Creating an animated wedding video of a couple's love story is a beautiful way to showcase the journey of two people coming together, celebrating their love and sharing it with family and friends. This particular story is of our Founder and CEO, Rizwan and his wife Shamaa.
Like any other project, we started with a deep dive. Gathering all the essential details of the couple's love story, including how they met, their first date, and their journey to marriage. We then take these details and created a script, including dialogue and key moments in the story.
In this example, we recorded all the voiceovers from the actual people themselves to make this really authentic. However, voiceover artists are always available, which can save time and perhaps make the video even more entertaining!
Once we had a script and voiceovers, we created illustrations of all the characters followed by the visuals of each scene in the story. This storyboard helps us plan out the visuals and flow. In Riz and Shamaa's story, we started with an introduction that featured still and slow-motion images of the characters, along with titles.
With the storyboard approved, we begin animating the story. Our team of animators brought the images and characters to life by adding motion, music, and sound effects. Each animator worked on different scenes in order to make sure we hit the deadline of the wedding day. It was first screened at the wedding venue in their private theatre room where just could come and watch the story as it played throughout the night!
In this animation, we began with Riz introducing the story, followed by Shamaa, who takes us back to the day it all began. We are then taken on a fun-filled journey culminating in the proposal! Check out our Youtube video to see the full story!
